It took a great deal of thought, but I've decided those bright batiks might make a stunning kaleidoscope quilt! I plan to use the Ricky Tim's Kool Kaleidoscope directions/pattern...with a few possible tweeks. I've managed to draft my template pattern, which is little more than an 18 inch square of freezer paper. I was delighted to discover as you make your pattern, it becomes a one of a kind pattern. There will never be another quilt exactly like mine...that may be a good thing! ;-) I'll let you judge...as the sewing progresses! I'm so anxious to jump in...but my mommy demands are never ending...and when they are tucked into bed...I'm often too weary to trust myself with a rotary cutter! I can almost feel those island breezes as I start to contemplate this exciting new project!
Until next time,
Keep Them In Stitches!
I can't wait to see your first block!! What a perfect time of year to be working on tropical breezes! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog and glad you like the campervan quilt. How you find time to do anything at all with twins I don't know. Perhaps you are wonderwoman in disguise. Have added myself to your list of followers.
