Another wave hits the Tropical Kaleidoscope quilt!

Another round (#3) has been added to the tropical kaleidoscope quilt! I've promised myself no "do-overs", so will have to live with each round, good or bad. Friends have assured me that in the end it all comes together, but one starts to wonder! Our weather has been stormy lately, keeping the twins/I inside. It reminds me that there is a lot of truth in the quip some grandparents make, about enjoying being able to send the little darlings home at night! My hubby does stand-up comedy as a hobby (I'd rather have a root canal than stand in front of crowd...but that's just me!). I've heard him tell the story of a lost child approaching a policeman, telling him he is lost. The policeman looks at the child and sighs, says he'll try to find the parents...but there are so many places they could hide! I have not found that place to hide, so that more/less sums up my klosje progress (or lack of)...add one...total seven! All kidding aside, I love the little darlings and am enjoying (almost!) every minute of our days. Meanwhile, until I can make major strides on my quilting hobby, I'm delighting in the creative juices and finished projects all of you wonderful bloggers are sharing! Big hugs to each one of you...you have all kept me sane on one day or more!

Until next time,
Keep them in Stitches!

  1. Cute post! Rainy days and little kids don't leave much time for quilting for sure. They grow up so fast although it doesn't seem like it when you are actually in the process of raising your family. My kids grew up quickly and now my granddaughters are all grown up! Wow, time has flown by. So far no great- grandkids! Hugs, Carol

  5. Stay the course ... every quilt and every quilter goes through stages where they question their plan/decision/process. The colors in this one are awesome ... keep going!
