Let the Quilting Begin!

It seems ever so long since I posted, the weeks prior to Christmas being so hectic. I'm anxious to start dreaming of new quilt projects again in the new year. Santa brought a new book which has me excited...FREE MOTION QUILTING MADE EASY by Eva Larkin. I'm hoping with a few tricks from this book, I can get comfortable with machine quilting and perhaps move some of my ufo's past the finish line. I dug into my mothers trunk and found a top that I think may work well for this learning experience...the pattern I believe is called Single Wedding Ring. I did locate some fabrics that although new, have a vintage look that might work for an interesting border or clever finish. What do you think? Any suggestions...input would be greatly appreciated...welcome...begged for! ;-)))

Until next time,
Keep them in stitches!

  1. That border fabric goes perfectly with the quilt. Good luck with the quilting.
