An island retreat?

I recently picked up a small book of quotes for Mothers and found one that speaks to me! It said that "the home should be a place of quiet peacefulness". Then went on to say that her home was an island all right-but at times more like Alcatraz. With twin pre-schoolers, I can identify with this! ;-) Hoping soon to post more photos and my amazing collection of klosjes...six now! Don't laugh...six feels like big stuff...when you spend your day defeating battle plans and territory disputes, along with checking for ticks (yes, it is spring in the northwoods!).

    I can kind of remember how busy it was when my kids were little - but it's been so long ago. I just can't imagine where the time has gone!! My daughter will be 59 in June and my son is 2 1/2 yrs younger. Wow! Happy Mother's Day to you!! Hugs, Carol

    Welcome to blogland and thanks for visiting my blog! I love your banner and I have another quote for you (I have 2 teenage sons, so this is very apt for me!).. "With boys you always know where you stand... right in the path of a hurricane!" You could change it to "twins"....
