The Chartreuse Moose is growing weary...

...with sorting & packing for our big move! Mr. Moose says I need to scale down, so I'm considering ironing all my quilt fabrics and shrink wrapping them to our mattress...and telling him we got a new pillow top mattress! Of course the poor man will need a step stool to get into bed, but you know how guys are...maybe he'll never notice???? Any chance of that??? ;-))))) What's a quilter to do? :-)))))
Hugs and happy stitching to all you dear quilters...hope to join you soon again!
The Chartreuse Moose is (almost) on the Loose!

  1. Nice to hear from you again!
I am not jealous, packing and moving is so annoying. But maybe we do it next year, too.
I once read a true story of a quilter: she bought fabrics and kept them in the trunk of her car, because she didn´t dare to tell her husband that she bought more fabrics. Then one day the trunk was so full that she was not able to close the lid any more...:-)

  2. Oh dear, how does one scale down on fabric. Impossible. Completely impossible!!

  3. Tweety Bird! You can figure this out. Somehow. There are always things that need padding during a move. Use it to protect glassware and plates? To prevent one item of furniture from scraping against another? Sure, maybe a few fabrics will be a little the worse for wear (use those to pack glassware!), but it's better than hauling old towels!!! : D
